Josh and Jeremy are Brooklyn based designers with a very interesting way of making great design. Yes, when everybody is thinking about creating a new space,  they come up with some sort of re-duce, re-use and re-cycle waste and industrial materials in order to develop authentic design solutions. The way they design and build spaces its pretty clever. Firstly, they find a wide range of old things and objects -that usually people think is trash- . Secondly, they repair and combine them with other pieces of work from unexpected places such as factories, trashy areas and flee markets where every object has a story to tell. After that, I guess they make a plan for the entire installation of all items into the interior space. This is a new way of making great design, where obsolescence it transformed as something functional, useful and with a great level of aesthetics. Among the projects they have done we can see Bar, restaurants, wineries, clothing stores. Check out their website here: http://www.wrkdesign.com/about

Hello again, still posting!! As you can see I am really excited about making deliveries to this online room.

Check out this beautiful and sophisticated interior design found in the heart of europe: Slovenia where the Alps meet the Mediterranean. It was designed by Nika Zupanc, -one of the most recognized slovenian designers-  in collaboration with Arhé d.o.o. architects. Nika is very well known lady specially for her furniture and product design. She graduated from the Academy of fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana and started working immediatedly as an independet designer. Apparently this is the first time she does interior and personally I think she did a great job.   Today, she collaborates with great furniture companies such as Moooi and Moroso.

Her style give us a well thought combination between masculine (within the use of concrete, wood and steel) and feminine (with the application of textiles, color and the dramatic slimness of furniture), don´t you think?

I would like to share this amazing song, it is definitely one of my fave things over the year and why not the first music post for the Sweet Delivery Room. Way too much zombieness and swetness on this girl I would say, she is like a weird combination……which is probably why we all love her.  They also give us some new ways to put on make up and dance with our own hair, looks fun!!

We should give it a try…as a creativity exercise to play with color, shape and volume while listening to the Grimes.

Hello and welcome to the Sweet Delivery Room where clever design is born and shared.

This is the place that gathers all sorts of inspirational work made by designers from all over the world. The purpose of this online spot is to show you a different perspective on design, where we can learn from each other and make you aware of what it needs to be done for the future. Yes, our role is not just to create beautiful pieces of work but also to be fully conscious about sustainability and socio-demographic changes. Good designers are aware of new technologies, materials and manufacturing processes. Great designers question and explore their application, as well as its environmental impact through a life cycle.

We look forward to hear from you and maybe one day, become an intenational design community, source of information for like-minded people… So, let the deliveries begin!

Thanks for stopping by.
